Sports Picks & Predictions
Compare MLB, NFL, NBA, WNBA and college football picks, then review their recorded performance.
How Ballz Picks are selected
SportzBallz compares model-generated predictions across moneyline, spread (run line in baseball), and over/under markets. The Ballz Pick of the Day or Week is the eligible selection with the highest estimated expected value in its daily slate or weekly edition. MLB, NBA and WNBA feature daily picks; NFL and college football also feature weekly picks.
Probability and price both matter
Expected value combines the model’s estimated chance of winning with the profit offered by the odds and the chance of losing the stake. A favorite can be more likely to win but offer less value than another pick. The highest-ranked selection can still have negative expected value; a Ballz label does not guarantee a positive edge or a win.
For illustration, a 55% estimated chance at +100 odds gives an estimated $10 net return per $100 wager over repeated comparable bets: 55% × $100 minus 45% × $100. This is a model estimate, not a promised return.
When a selection becomes final
Before a featured game starts, updated predictions or prices can change the selection. Once that game starts, its saved pick, line and price are locked. Later results are graded against that saved wager, rather than replacing it with a different pick after the outcome is known.
What the inputs can and cannot tell you
Each sport uses its own model and available game data. Matchup commentary explains the picks; it is separate from the probability-and-price ranking. Odds can move, and a published price may no longer be available. Where spread or total prices are missing, some sports use a -110 assumption; NBA skips markets without usable prices. Treat assumed prices and incomplete data as limitations when reviewing performance.
Compare the picks with recorded results
Use each dashboard to compare All Picks with the featured Ballz Picks of the Day or Week. Review the number of settled picks, wins, losses, pushes and pending results alongside the historical graphs. A pending result is not a win or a loss. Profit charts are hypothetical calculations at the displayed stake and recorded odds, not verified customer returns.
The NFL dashboard also compares one Ballz selection per eligible game, a positive-value-only strategy, and an equal weekly budget. Those are separate from the single featured Pick of the Week.
